The pedistals make the washer and dryer much easier to access. It was very difficult to do prior to that. The installers did a terrible job. The walls and door were damaged and both washer and dryer aren’t level.

Would Not Recommendmy fault I didn't research prior but added last minute when in store purchasing the washer/dryer heat pump combo. The store did not have one to look at. Would have preferred to to be taller with a pull out drawer.

Would Not RecommendIf you can do without the pedestal and live with 8 inches or so lower I would do that. It just seems to be so hard to get it sturdy and level enough to keep the machine from vibraiting and bouncing. I need the height or I would give up on it. I do believe the combo unit would be much better if it could sit direct on the floor.
