Simply great!

Initially ordered 1/2 HP from other big brands, but too bulky, noisy and big vibrations. This one just perfect for its size, less vibrations, less noise and easy installation

Not sure it's working

This garbage disposal was installed in a new construction home I purchased a few months ago. I'm not sure if it's working properly. I mentioned it to the contractor on our 30-day punch list but haven't had a response yet. Water drains slowly and it sound like something is wrong.

everyday use

I like it because it's simple and easy to use. No issues what so ever.

Great disposal

Just moved in and we love it. It doesn't seem too loud which is great!

Slim design - great perfromance

I really liked this unit because it's affordability and how convenient it fits in my sink. On 5 years of use the only proble was the wear of the disc, so I replaced it with a new unit of the same.

Very quiet and performance unit

This disposal unit came with our new house. I'm so glad that our builder chose this GE disposal! It's much quieter than the disposal in our previous house and the performance is also great.

Super Compact

The disposal is very compact, it fit perfectly in the kitchen design. The product works great.

Quieter than the last

It do great with all the same functionality. My only issue is there is a small water ring that does not seem to drain. I think that is because of the sink.

Very Quiet

Product works well and is very quiet. Old one had a larger opening and water/food would be sucked in as soon as you turned it on, this one does not, you need to push larger pieces in but not a big problem.

Easier to buy another one

Admittedly, I don't know how to fix this disposal when the spinning grinders decide to break through and come loose. This is the THIRD GFC525V I have bought in recent years. The last one I purchased in 2017 or so. The same breakdown occurred with the second one as with the first one - the grinders came loose, and unit was useless. It's easier for me to just replace the unit below the neck than it is to buy another brand and have to try to dislodge and re-putty the holder in the sink. BUT, these...

Quiet

Pretty quiet in operation. Not much more I can say about a disposal.

Easy install

After using a ge garbage disposal for 15 years, it was time for a new one. It came with a power cord which I had to remove to use the wire connectors. Other than that minor setback, connection was a quite easy.
