Bad quality for price

Bought them 2 years ago but used for first time this Christmas. 1/2 of string quit working after a couple weeks. Have replaced fuses as well as going through each light. Still cannot get them to work.

Bought 2 sets last year Xmas 2024. They worked well, this year only on set works. I tried replacing fuses, but still not turning on.

2 out of 4 strands have failed

So this is year 2 of using these for decorations. I tried replacing the fuses and every single bulb and they don't works. I won't be using them again as my main lights on the house.

Dont even last 2 yrs!

Bought Dec 2023 season will not come on for our 2025 season!!

Do Not Buy!

Bought these 2024 for Christmas. Returned 2 sets immediately. They stopped responding to the remote after a week. Just got them back out to hang up this year and none of the 4 sets will work! Did all the troubleshooting. Called the number and if I pay for the shipping back to Nicholas Holiday they will refurbish them. By the time I ship them and get them returned Christmas will be over. Won’t last

Bought last year with 2 out of the 6 strands not working out of the box. Getting ready to hang lights this year 2025 and 2 more strands are not working. Would not recommend based on durability alone.

Disappointed is an understatement

Purchased 5 sets last year for 2025 installation. Tested before I installed but 1 string has already stopped working. On the other sets, when I set them to red white and blue, mid sequence, they change to red white and green. Not hopeful for the Xmas season as I don’t expect them to last.

died in less than 6 months

these worked great for the first 6 months and then stopped working. I bought them in October of 2024. I checked all of the lights, the cabling, all of the connections. I've been when as far as to use rubber electrical tape to wrap the connections and make sure water didn't get into the plug ports.

Defective Products / Buyer Beware GE & Lowes

GE lights failed / defective products. Make sure if you decide to buy ANY GE product you check the manufacture date making sure it has not expired. Because Lowes may have put old product on shelf causing product to be out of warranty. If you do return the lights. very disappointed!

I have about 72,000 GE string Staybright lights on my house this year. I love love love the GE lights, the colors, and the way they are made. I always have to replace bulbs every year with the string lights but that is expected with the extreme weather. HOWEVER the color choice lights have a RGB system that doesn't sync to the other strands. I have 36 sets and had already returned 4. since the week before Xmas I have lost 13 strands and been trying to fix them since I took them down. I did ...

These RGB lights use a remote and you don’t have to download an app, which seems like a better choice for long term use.

Nice color changing lights but limited patterns

I bought the last two boxes of this particular light string that were available. They work great when plugged in but one box was missing the remote control unit for controlling the operation of the lights. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see about a replacement remote. The lights work great and are colorful but the changing patterns seem to be limited to one set of colors at a time and require remote input to switch to another color for the same pattern.

Not worth the purchase.

Bought these lights 2 weeks ago for Christmas. Advertised as indoor/ outdoor lights, however, the slightest bit of moisture caused the lights to burn out and stop working. These lights need to be indoor only unless you wish to buy replacement parts constantly for them. It's not worth purchasing to decorate outside with, but it would be okay for indoor use.

DO NOT BUY!!!

We bought 3 sets of these on Nov 25th and my husband put them up on the house. Right away there were a couple lights on each strand that were a different color than the rest each time the colors would change. My husband was not happy with this but I said we will live with it (regretfully). Within 2 days one whole strand went out and the next day a second whole strand went out!
