Lights burn out after 1 year

Bought these lights hoping they would work as advertised. I bought 12 boxes total and at the end of the year only 2 strands of lights work. As well as could never get them all to sinc up to the same colors. Pretty lame for $50 box a box. Don't waste your time

Game Changer for 2023! All New!

In previous years these lights were not “smart”. They would not “sync”. Changing multiple strings required tedious unplugging each string, changing with remote, then moving onto the next string with a long extension cord. Waste of Money

When the lights function, they are pretty cool. But they do not stand up to outdoor conditions. I live in AR which has pretty moderate weather. First bought Xmas 2021. 40% of the lights went out. I sent them back for an exchange direct to the company as there is a warranty, (which cost me $$ for shipping). Thought I would buy a few additional boxes Xmas 2022. Same thing. don't string two of these together

like the available features but I have two of these in series, in the combo mode the two strings do not operate at the same rate so they get out of sync and look bad

arrived damaged

Box was damaged prior to shipping. Missing directions, remote control, spare bulbs and bulbs had been removed from the light string. Returning.

Cool light when works. Problem is, they don't

Innovative string lights - out of stock too soon

It is great being able to change the light colors or motion whenever I want. The remote control even work from inside the house. I really like to dual color twinkling option! The only dissatisfaction I had was going back to get more and finding out that they are out of stock.

Multiple sets will not work together

Multiple connected sets WILL NOT SYNC UP the lighting effects. Contacted manufacturer, this is a known issue to them they were unable to fix.

You should buy these lights.

I absolutely love these lights. Love the remote control the fact that they link together and all of the light settings they have. They were much more affordable than some of the others. Super bright.

Loved them last year - now they won't work

We bought two sets last year and loved them. Both worked great and were in working order when we packed them away. Tried to put them up tonight and half the set of both strands won't light. Tried replacing bulbs and still cannot get them to work. It's unfortunate as they were beautiful but it was a waste of $100.

Only works 1 year

These lights are awesome as far as technology. However, the more functions something has the more likely they are to malfunction. Four strand were purchased last year, and only 3 work this year. Lowes wont return or exchange them and GE makes it difficult to return for repairs or exchange. I would rather have a return than a repair as they are likely to be broke next year.

An Atrocious Product

We purchased 5 set last year for Christmas (has a 2 year warranty). Lights were on display for approximately 5 weeks. Looked very nice. Stored each set on a Christmas light reel until this year. When unpacked 4 sets out of 5 sets light up only 1/2 of the lights on the 2nd half of the string. I pulled each light out to verify the wires made good contact with the base plug (all were in good alignment). Attempted to communicate with a GE representative but when called was informed needed to have ...

LIGHTS DO NOT SYNCH TOGETHER…

Waste of money. Lights do not synch together. They should sell a 200 foot set of lights so they could all be the same pattern. I put these on my house and every strand is different. Not what you expect for spending so much on Lights.

inferior product

1 of 3 sets that I purchased lasted through one season. I decided to give them another chance this year since the four sets I had last year quit working too. Done with GE Coloreffects. Bad product, do not waste your money!

Junk

Well firstly; these things do not Sync. So if you want your lights to look decent and sycned up, do not get these. Also, half of both strands I have went out after just three weeks of use.
