Quit working

2 seasons. That was it. Controller went bad. Disappointing since this was an expensive set of lights.

Just bought 2 of these strands at the beginning of the season and a section on both strands have stopped working. Super frustrating because I thought changing to LED would alleviate the stress of having them go out so fast. Not to mention they weren't cheap! Would not recommend buying these.

Color switch

Too small color switch brand way better. Hard to find now. Color switch is like a switch color white color white. These fade out from color to white

Great for the pre-lit tree doesn't pre-light!

Nice and bright with several effects to choose from. Purchased two strings to add on our pre-lit tree that no longer pre-lights.

Half of them work in year 2

I bought four strands last year, all worked perfectly and stored them inside for this year. Plugged them in and only two strands work now. Started pulling bulbs on one strand and gave up after going through all the replacement bulbs in all four strands. The wires on the bulbs are incredibly fragile, barely attached and several were just gone when I pulled the bulb. Don't expect these to last more than a year or two at most.

Worked for 1 hour

Bought 2 boxes for 2 small trees by our front door. withing 1 hour both strands stopped working. all the bulbs work after testing. bought a new strand to test the control box for light functioning, and BOTH control boxes are where the fault is. Will not waste anymore money on these lights.

bulb failures

We have a total of 5 strings of these lights. So far 3 strings of lights have had bulb failures which causes 1/3 of the string to not light. Each light in the unlit area needs to be pulled out to find the one light that is missing one of the metal contacts. Called the company for extra bulbs. No guarantee I can get more as their online store is out of them. Save receipts if you want any chance of replacements of anything.

Love this set and am getting more

We bought these for our tree. I bought one strand to see if I like them, and so far, I really do. I love that you can choose between all white or multicolor, and the various functions are available for both modes. What flexibility. These are LED lights without the retina burn, if you know what I mean. I am going back to Lowe's for more of these.

Paid extra for "name brand" and was disappointed

I've had these lights for one year, only used inside and the controller has already broken. GE's warranty requires me to package and send them the defective product then wait 4 to 6 weeks to process my claim. I'd probably end up paying half the product cost in packaging and shipping so it's hardly worth it.

Stopped working almost immediately

So disappointed. We plugged them in and they worked great. About 30 minutes go by and nothing brand new out of the box😞

Didn’t last for year 2

I bought these thinking that they would last a long time and I just threw out $100 worth of lights because there were about 30 bad bulbs per strand. Just buy the cheap stuff. I thought I would save some money by having only one set that could be colors or white, but here I am back at Lowe’s.
