LED that does not last

Done waste your money. Bought 2 years ago and after hanging for 3 weeks, half the strand quit working. After the holiday I took them down but lowes would not take them back. The next year the other strand would go dim or go out all together. This was supposed to be a GE product but it is junk. Look at all the reviews with the same issues. Don't buy these.

If I could give 0 stars I would. After spending hours putting the lights up that we bought last year, at least 3 of the strings are out. Ugh.... Listen to the other reviews and don't buy.

Doesn’t last.

These lights didn’t last one Christmas season. I got 25 of these. Spent hundreds of dollars last year. Only half the strand on about 13 strands were working before the holiday season ended. Tried to work on them this year to get them to work to hang on my elderly mother’s fence. No luck. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Complete JUNK!

Bought these in 2024. I noticed a couple of lights had quit working after being up for almost a month. Ok, no biggie. When we hung them up this year, I noticed a few more lights were out. Ok, still no biggie. After putting up 3 strings of lights with some burnt out bulbs, we plugged in the last set. Well &@$?!!!! Half the lights don’t even work!!!! I looked on the website to order another set and seen the star rating. Well, looks like we’re not the only ones with crappy lights. Now to the trash ...

Avoid these

We have purchased this brand multiple times now. Disappointing that every strand fails within a couple weeks of hanging year two. Tried both 75 light and 100 light versions. Lesson learned. Will not buy GE brand again. I would advise Lowe's to source a better quality of lights as their exclusive offering.

WORST LIGHTS EVER PURCHASED

Purchased 8 sets of lights and after a couple days leds started burning out. After a month approximately 25 leds were burned out and one set quit working at exactly halfway through. The second season 2 more sets stopped working at exactly halfway through as soon as I plugged them in. I called the number for the warranty which is 3 years and was informed that I needed to send the original receipt with the bad sets of lights. Shipping was at my cost which wasn’t worth it in the end. I will never...

We've had ours going on our 4th year and no problems. Looks great and works well.

Good quality

I appreciate that they were packaged on a spool which them easy to unwind. I’m hoping the spool will be sturdy enough to use year after year. The cord and lights seem well made. Hopefully they’ll last as long as the spool!

They lasted one season

I bought two 25 light strings and one 75 light string the same day last year. Half of the 75 light string doesn't work, both twenty five light strings work fine. They have a guarantee on them but I don't know how go about getting any adjustment made for this.

LED that does not last

These lights are junk. I bought 2 sets to go across the front of the house. After about 2 or 3 weeks, half the strand went out. I used both sets again the following year and the other strand was half bright and half dim. Plugged them in this year to see how they looked and 1 strand had no lights and the other has sections that work and sections that don't. Of course once they are up, you don't want to take them down to return them and lowes woukd not accept a return after Christmas. Look how poo...

Horrible

Spend a couple hundred dollars on these lights for our house and after using them one season we had to throw them away because they don’t work this season! We even bought a nice wheel thing to store them so they wouldn’t get damaged during the year. After reading these other reviews I see it’s a common thing and not something we did wrong. Disappointed to say the least!! Package says 3 year warranty but not sure how to even go about that.

Waste of money

We bought 2000’ of these lights, spent a good amount of money and they didn’t last a season. Waste of money. Will not buy GE lights again. Extremely disappointed!!!
