Found the match for my GE floor model washer!!

Saw this pristine heavily discounted floor model that goes along with the GE floor model washer I purchased a few months agon, I haven't picked it up yet, but if it's even remotely close to the quality, convenience and ease of use of the matching GE washer, I'll increase this review to 5 stars!

Works perfectly.

Because of past experience with GE appliances, we upgraded to this GE dryer when making options selection during the purchase of a new home. Dryer works as advertised, making short work and efficiently drying clothes.

Nice, but not great

The dryer is about average, most annoying "feature" is Eco Dry which sees to prolong the drying process instead of just drying the clothes.

Great features that make a difference

The moisture sensing ability is great! I no longer have to over dry my clothes

Solid dryer

It’s still new, but so far has a large capacity and dries effectively. Let’s me know when it’s done through the app. Great lint screen. Very happy.

Worked great for a year now the check vent light will not go off and it don’t heat up right but the vent is all clean

The dryer is very efficient...I find, however, that I am unable to read the top directions of the dryer for choices to determine the type and amount of the drying cycle based on the clothes load .....without a step-stool !!!! to read directions !!! This is UNACCEPTABLE !!!!. I would like some kind of readable directions added and pasted to the bottom of the dryer to facilitate easier choices for programing of the dryer

Great so far

I love that it is very big inside and easy to access your clothes. The opening is wide and I'm not searching and sticking my head inside. Looking for that extra sock. Figuring out all the settings is the hardest part

Catastrophic Drum Failure Within Two Years

We were very happy with this dryer at first, but within two years of purchasing it, the internal components failed and destroyed the drum. It suddenly started making a loud clunking noise, which turned out to be the drum being torn apart from the inside. The damage was severe, including a gouge about 1/4 inches wide that extended nearly all the way around the drum. We had a repairman inspect it, and he said he had never seen anything like it. Cracked Drum

Owned this dryer a little over 2 years and it started making a rhythmic thumping noise while drying. Looked inside and found the drum had a big crack in it on the back where it contacts the rollers. Looking up the parts to repair are almost half the cost of the dryer not including labor with no guarantee the same thing won't happen again. Into the landfill it went.
