What Customers Are Saying
The compact dryer has a mix of positive and negative aspects. It offers useful features like various drying cycles, a reversing drum, and a drying rack. Many found it efficient, quiet, and well-suited for small spaces. However, it struggles to fully dry larger items, with longer than expected drying times. Some users reported reliability issues, with the dryer stopping mid-cycle or not heating properly. The dryer is also quite noisy, with complaints of loud thumping or squealing sounds. While it may work well for small, light loads, the performance and noise level issues are significant drawbacks.

SweepstakesBlack marks on clothes
Would Not RecommendThis dryer has been serviced many times from our local appliance store where we purchased it. They have replaced the bearing, and the drum. It still makes black marks all over our clothes. It's frustrating that we keep having the same problem.

Does not work
Would Not RecommendThe dryer makes a horrible noise on first use / sounds like the drum is rubbing on something. I contacted GE warranty service and they cannot get out to diagnose for a week and then have to order parts. I want a replacement - it’s brand new!

Great Performance Dryer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my dryer on Oct. 3rd, and it works great. The performance and cycles make sure that your clothes are warm and dry, plus it is an energy saver dryer, which will lower your electric bill.

SweepstakesWorst Dryer Ever & Terrible Warranty
Would Not RecommendThis is the worst dryer I've ever owned. It took 4 hours to dry 5 towels. It takes 2-4 times as long to dry a load than any other dryer I've used. Also makes a squeaking noise. When I tried to schedule service within the 1 year warranty, GE stated the product was too old to be within the warranty (not sure how a less than 1 year old dryer is too old for a 1 year warranty). I will not be buying any other GE appliance or product after this experience.
We're sorry to hear you've had issues with long drying times and noise, especially as you also weren't able to schedule service. We want ...

Poor drying always get low air pop up
Would Not RecommendDisappointed in GE was happy they came with the house was as they are new. I constantly have to run the dryer several time to get things to dry. I always get the low air signal show up and it’s always cleaned out I don’t understand. Things takes twice as long as my old ge so I may be looking to go to LG next round cause this is just making our power bill go thru the roof!

SweepstakesGreat Features and Quiet
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at a lot of dryers and we liked this one the best. It has good features and we think it holds more than our previous Bosch unit eventhough they are the same capacity. It is very quiet and dries the clothes really well. We thought there are more cycles than we need, but use them all. We also really like the damp feature and the clothes are perfectly damp when the buzzer goes off. When we got it, we tried various settings with all sorts...

SweepstakesBeautiful, but inefficient
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brand new dryer takes way too long to dry clothes. It took nearly 2 hours to dry one bath towel. I have to dry the fitted sheet separately from the top sheet in order to dry. The sheets wad up into a ball almost immediately after turning on the dryer, so I untangle them multiple times. I'm disappointed with the inefficiency.
