Nice range - documentation frustrating

Nice range - I am enjoying all of the features so far. Although not as sleek as I prefer I choose it over the others for serviceability. Camera operation is spotty and in general operating instructions are difficult to find, so poorlywritten as to render them useless, or nonexistent. The various videos for operating specific features are generally useless and appear to be put together to tout the feature instead of detailing how to operate the feature

Update removed self-clean.

My oven, new in 2021, came with self-cleaning function which we used 3 times. went to self-clean last month and that option is now gone. Contacted GE and cannot get anyone to explain why the self-clean disappeared after the last software update. Very disappointed with GE at this time. I had this same model at our home in Calif and purchased again for our new home in Oregon. Self-clean worked in both ovens until removed by GE. i do not recommend this product.

New experience that's excellent so far

Looks Great. I love the performance and fast cooking. I converted from all gas, so it will take some time and practice before I can do a full review. The cooktop controls and oven settings are really intuitive and easy to use.

Great features and more than I expected

Awesome appliance and beautiful. I can’t imagine not having this in my home.

Great purchase

So looking to start using my new induction range. We put a lot of thought into this purchase and have never been disappointed with GE products in the past. Here’s to many good years of induction cooking.

Seems to work almost intuitively with my understanding level. Oven heats rapidly. Love the induction.

I do love my oven

Burners have to be the right size for the pot. Finger prints are annoying

No explanation of the button on the left front cook top. Unable to activate the app to get access to the air fry. Why does it only work with an app? Not everyone is tech competant..

Software controls need work

We were so excited about switching to induction cooking and to be honest we love the cooking part. However, the GE Profile software and controller panel need a lot of work. Occasionally, when items are cooking on top and in the oven, the control panel completely freezes and refuses to respond to any gestures. This can happen with the center panel as well as the individual burner panels. It's pretty scary when you can't get your burners to respond. We were told to flip the breaker in these circ...

This oven was rated highly online and recommended by my in-store expert. It has delivered. It is easy to use and has many useful features.

Clean, efficient cooking

I did a lot of research before buying this range. I had a GE dual fuel that I loved but it was at the end of it's days. In my research I became intrigued by induction. I am so happy to say I made the switch and I will never go back to gas. Sleek, fast and easy to clean are my favorite things right now.

Works great so far

Since we are new to the induction cooktop, I'll say it works great. Amazing how quick water boils. Still getting use to the burner sizes and needing correct pans but right now won't blame the unit. Oven works good. Full of features that we haven't used yet. Convenient touch controls.

Over priced

I almost pulled the trigger on this one until I checked the GE website and found that full retail is $3,349 and it is currently on sale for $3,110. Sorry Lowes but that doesn't fly

Nothing wrong yet

Cooks really evenly so far and the induction ranges work really well. The only thing I don’t like so far is the camera. It’s really delayed so m the app but that’s probably an app issue not an oven issue

Very happy with purhase

i was concerned about figuring out the induction cooktop but it has not been a problem. The oven bakes well in all modes and there are even more modes than expected (i.e. frozen pizza setting). The front control panel sticks out rather far and makes it difficult to reach back burners, at least for me, but it would not prevent me from buying again.

new to induction cooking

We replaced an older Cafe gas model with this range. The induction cooking works quite well with a learning curve. Oven baking/convection performance are excellent with a variety of breads, meats and other foods. We have yet to try the air fryer. One ding is the delivery experience. As others have noted here and in other forums, we ended up with a model where the oven roller rack was too large. It blocked the oven door from being fully closed. A replacement has been in the works for four week...

Impressive on paper

The induction top is great. Fast to heat, fast to cool, a nice feeling of safety. The Wi-Fi setup and interface is downright clunky, notably the oven camera, which suffers from a long lag time. The resolution of the camera is quite limited. The remote monitoring of the oven through the app is very useful. I was able to spot that family members had left the oven on & I was able to shut it off miles away. The oven calibration is spot on, but the convection and air fry features are difficult ...

Easy setup, easy controls, cooks great with all the features you could look for.
