Burnt out in less than 2 weeks
Would Not RecommendThis bulb lasted not even 2 weeks, using it maybe a 1/2 hour a day. The last one I had lasted 8 years! What the heck? A total dud.

Would Not RecommendPurchased 2/23/2020 and I noticed it was dead 3/10/2020. Only used in the cold mornings. Usually they last 5 to 7 years(Made in USA) This was the first "Made in China" heat lamp.

Poor longevity
Would Not RecommendThese lamps are consistently not as described when it comes to their ratings for hours of use. I had two burn out within days of installing, and I figured it was the fixture going bad/old. Replaced with a new porcelain fixture, and I get the same result from these bulbs. They will not last the 5000 hours they are rated to last...not even close. Look for another lamp...

Recommend this 250w heat lamp
Would Recommend250w lamp heats up the outside area enclosed with roll plastic sheeting for plants for the winter. At 25 degrees the area with the sun lamp stayed around 45 degrees. If needed could buy 2 and get warmer results. It’s safer and cheaper than running a heater. I plugged a eco plug into it so I can turn it off and on with my phone when it’s needed, from anywhere, works great.
