Perfect microwave for us

Multiple special features including “melt, mute, 3 speed fan”. Very quiet operation, large capacity, and attractive appearance. I would recommend this unit. Great sale price Lowe’s staff were excellent.

Loud microwave

We wanted a no frills microwave and that’s what this is. I would prefer a microwave that isn’t so loud but this works well.

Excessively LOUD

It is too loud. This is my third microwave of this model. The sound when it works is way too loud. The appliance works, but I have to endure this extremely loud sound. The repairman says it works. I know it works. I can’t tolerate the excess sound.

Great features

It is a great color nice feature too but the door started making a squeaky noise, It started after I used the microwave for 5 minutes, And the squeaking noise gets louder right after I use microwave again

Good microwave. Stiff touchscreen

The touchpad controls are quite stiff and hard to push with long fingernails or arthritic fingers. Otherwise, it is a good machine

GE Over the Range Microwave Oven

This new microwave is black as what we expected from having the same as before. However, the interior also is black. I wasn’t sure about it when first installed, but I do like the dark interior now that I have gotten used to it.

Great cosmetics

We are replacing a 2017 model JVM7195FL with a 2025 same model. Cannot believe how cheaply made the 2025 model is compared to the 2017 model. Very disappointed with the quality. Also believed it would be a take out old and put in new one. Trust me it is start from scratch job. I do like GE products though.

Questionable quality

Microwave is not working after 30 days. Disappointing. Waiting for scheduled service, but it should last longer than this.

Replaced 12 year old GE Adora

It was a easy pick to replace the existing GE Adora microwave which lasted 12 years and died over a month losing its heating power. Controls, capacity and performance of the new one appear to be equivalent but the fan is a lot more noisier. The door closure also can be made a bit less loud. The installers replaced it in 20 minutes.

Buy it. You won’t regret it!

So far we are really enjoying our new microwave. It is easy to get it to do what you want without having an engineering degree. Just install it and go! It seems to heat evenly and thoroughly and holds whatever we put in it easily. I’m all the time putting in full plates of food, easily.

Turntable

This unit is reasonably good. However, the turntable extends beyond the end of the unit when the door is open, which is an issue for short people. If there is a smaller turntable available for this model, that would help

Disappointed

Upset that I had to print my own copy of owners manual!!! Sharp edge on metal overlay on door handle.
