power,capacity and grinding great
the power is good and the ease of installation was easy ,it grinds the food and the capacity of food taken is great .However i don't like how loud the disposal is.

Would RecommendIt’s quiet and seems to have enough power to grind all of the foods that we put down so far. I don’t how durable it is going but it has been good so far.

Would RecommendEasy to install. Directions are clear. I just installed it, but it is relatively quiet and seems to do a great job. Small footprint, and all the pieces I needed were in the box. I am replacing my old GE disposAll that lasted 20 years.

Replaced GFC320F with GFC525N
Would RecommendI bought and installed this to replace a GE GFC320F Disposall. It was almost 15 years old and just wore out. I figured 15 years is pretty good. So I figured, I'll just get another GE disposal that is the same or similar so I don't have to re-plumb the drains under the sink.

8 Months and blades stop working??
Would Not RecommendI replaced our GE model that had lasted over 10 years back in late February with this one. Blades stopped spinning on that one and it just hummed. I expected to have this one at least for a while. Same thing has happened just 8 months later. 1 person lives here now and I don’t use it that often or put things that would be too dense in it to easily grind up. So incredibly disappointing GE. Hard earned money literally down the drain.

Short life
This is my third purchase of this model. The last one lasted less than 4 years before plastic case cracked. Bought again since it was an essy drop in replacement.
