It takes Trial and error to get it to fit properly. It took two of us about 30 minutes to get it in the window and positioned properly, with a lot of shifting and cursing. The one thing I did like about the bracket is it has a built-in level. However, we discovered after we finished that you have to make sure the bubble is NOT in the center, otherwise, you will have water in your house. We didn't know and didn't find this out until we went outside and looked at the conditioner and realized it...

This makes installing ac window units so much easier! Usually our air conditioner is at strange angles with gaps all. Once the bracket was installed, I got the ac installed perfectly in a couple of minutes.

Would RecommendThis entire purchase was as easy as you can ask for. I bought the bracket online, to be picked up at one of my local Lowes. I'd never done the "locker" pick-up, and it seemed like a pretty cool idea. 2 days later, swung by, went in, used the app, grabbed my purchase out of the locker and headed home. Nah! Waste of money
Would Not RecommendA waste of good money. Just get ya a 2x4 and a slap of wood and make a prop. Would bring back but air conditioner is in and don’t want to take back out to remove the junk.

Would RecommendOur 8000 BTU window air conditioner didn't budge when I positioned it on this bracket after **reading the instructions** and adjusting the lean to the angle that I needed. It takes some mechanical forethought to plan the installation and a helper to keep from dropping large window units. It's designed to support considerably larger A/C units than what I placed on it if installed properly. I bought the heavy duty bracket because I may put a larger unit in the window later, but if you're not plann...
