This is the 3rd bracket I’ve purchased this year and compared to the other 2 this one is flimsy and was in the same price range. Also the box from my Lowes had apparently been a return so I was missing some a washer and an M6 fastener.
installation difficult, sill gets a beating
Despite what the package states, installation of this product was anything but simple. The instructions were not that clear, the diagrams were small and difficult to follow. Needed more narrative and better exploded detail. The leveling procedure is difficult to follow, leveling is difficult and painstaking to achieve, and the sill takes a beating from three long, thick screws that require power tools to properly set. Worse is that the risers that are used to help the support attain proper pitch...
