Difficult to level

This product works great if the window casing and outside support (brick for example) are level. The level in the device only shows how the unit is positioned vertically. If you do not have a horizontally level base to screw into to, the AC will tip either to the left or right. It adds stress to the window that locks it in place from above. Be ready to be creative if you have an older house.

Very easy to install

The built in level was probably my favorite feature of this item.Just a few screws and a little bit of leveling got the new AC unit installed in my mom's house and this support added maybe ten minutes to what was a 30 minute process in total.

Exceptional, quiet, easy

Though the initial assembly of the skirt requires you to pull the inner "guts" out of the box, it's easy and quick. The unit itself is fantastic. It's quiet, efficient and I highly recommend it!

This support bracket was easy to install and provides a very stable platform for the window air conditioner to sit on.

Bought this for 8,000-BTU Frigidaire unit. SUPER easy to install! Easily supports this unit, and looks a lot better than a 4x4 post holding it up!

Frost King Bracket is Junk!

Too expensive and does not work! The rubber bottom foot of the bracket was hanging off the wall by the end of the first day! I am going to drill another hole in the wall and bolt the bottom into the brick with a large washer. Save your money!

Piece of garbage

Bought a replacement 18000 BTU air condition (with a power cord on the opposite side of the AC, making it impossible to plug into the outlet), I had move replacement unit in a different window which didn't have the window support. I went online looking for a simple solution to the AC support and found this bracket. No issues

This product is made for houses that contain window sills. I read another review that states it is made for older homes because 90% of new homes are made without window sills. I am not sure what part of the country this reviewer lives but I disagree with this. My home is 13 years old and we have window sills in all rooms. Not for all windows

This product is mainly for old homes with a window sill. Modern vinyl windows 90% of the time do not have sills to use this brace. However, if you are installing an average size A/C unit you don't need a brace

Excellent product!

Very easy to install. Doesn't do any damage to the vinyl siding. Easily supports my 18,000 BTU air conditioner, that weighs 140 lbs.

Doesn't stay in place

For starters, I don't understand why some people have given it a 5-star review while admitting in their review that they had to make certain customizations to the bracket and/or the wall of their home for it to work properly. To me that isn't a 5-star product when you have to make up your own ways on how to get it to do what it is supposed to do.
