Replaced side mount RV air conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 6000 BTU this unit replaced a 5000 BTU side mount air conditioner. It was the same case size in width and height so the swap was easy. It works great and the remote control is very handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good window AC unit. A little louder than advertised but not bad. Cools quickly. We use the eco setting so it turns on and off as needed overnight but can still adjust it manually if room too hot/cold. Remote control is super handy, no climbing over furniture to adjust (best window is next to a bed, we keep remote on nightstand). The side flap things aren’t sealed together so had a gap in one side but used supplied foam to fill gap and prevent ...

Discontinued?
It cools. Like most types ,it has 3 speeds . It’s for a bedroom so the sound level is important. The Midea U shaped one I purchased is whisper quiet. It’s a different engineering and cost twice as this one but I hoped it would be ok. The fan only setting does keep the air flowing. I no where did it say discontinued on the website?
