Ratings & Reviews for Frigidaire Small Room Window Air Conditioner , Remote Included ( 115-Volt , 6000-BTU )

Small window air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have installed my new window unit, and used it a few times, but there hasn't been much hot weather yet, so I'm not sure how well it's going to cool my room. One thing I don't care for is that it atomically starts on "eco" setting, instead of just regular "cool". Otherwise, so far it is a nice looking unit, pretty easy to install, and I like the remote feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Temperature setting control is very useful. A little noisy but acceptable.

I'm sure it performs well, but front panel lights are way too small

This is my second Frigidaire window air conditioner; my first one (an older model) is in a different room. When this new unit was installed, I didn't notice – until I attempted to use the remote control – that the mode lights on the unit's front panel are extremely small and are slightly recessed from the front panel. This means, unless one is standing almost exactly 90 degrees in front of the unit, it is impossible to see the mode lights, especially from several feet away, sadly making the remo...

EFFICIENT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great options for it auto running. I can set it to 75 and in Eco mode it will automatically turn on and off. It does it's job. You can't go wrong with this model. Love the remote!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome air conditioner, cools the entire room and if I leave my bedroom door cracked cools the living room too!

Perfect For My Workshop and Her She Shed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy all Frigidaire appliances because of quality, durability, and efficiency. I compared this A/C unit with others, and others don't match up. Amps to BTUs performance for this unit is exceptional, and it is so quiet, and easy to install. The value price point is unbeatable too. Because of my application I decided to use the optional accessory 80 lbs. support bracket.

Air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air conditioner for a bedroom because I have a bigger one that works fantastic so I expect this one will be as good

Compact Yet Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a small room this unit is perfect. Installation was simple and after sealing off the sides with additional insulation foam and weather tape there is no draft coming through. My older air conditioner that one replaced was much heavier and larger so I was worried that this unit would not be powerful enough but so far its proven more than capable.

Nice cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was awesome was easy to install, love the feature where you set it to a certain temperature and it keeps that in the room. It's nice having the remote so when you're watching TV you don't have to get up and change it.

nothing like an nice cool room in a hundred degree temps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new AC. It kept me nice a cool during the heatwave. I could not wait to come home from work and turn it on. Within seconds I was feeling nice and relaxed. Price was very reasonable and the look is very nice too.

A Great Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a very easy installation and it works perfectly in our small cottage. It keeps it cool and runs very quietly. I highly recommend.

Disappointed and Displeased

Not very impressed or happy with this unit. While it cools well, it also does not remove much humidity from the air and as a result the the air is damp. Also, this unit shows the Energy Star label on the front panel, however, when I submitted a rebate to my electric company, they advised this is NOT an Energy Star model per the Energy Start website and I confirmed this is not listed on the Energy Start website so I don't know why this has an Energy Star label and seems deceptive to have this on ...

Good for my bedroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiter than most. Easy to install. Larger bedroom. Can run with my generator during power outage.

Great Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner is very efficient and works well. Using it has reduced my electric bill. I replaced 3 units with Frigidaire units. The former units weren’t energy star rated and my bill was higher. These units were easy to assemble and install. The only complaint I have is that they’re loud, so loud that if I’m talking on speaker on my landline, the person I’m speaking to has said that they have trouble hearing me. I’ve had to turn it off ...

Wonderful window AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great efficient AC with excellent warranty and supplies. Only make sure that you get the measurements of the ac with the wings to ensure proper fit into window.
