Great window AC unit

Great little air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this air conditioner to replace the one in our bedroom that was getting very noisy. This one is so quiet you don’t even know it’s on. I’m very happy with it.

Most everything works great, definitely a few issues with the remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the unit and even though I don't understand how people rate the noise because all a/c units make noise when running, I feel this unit is really not that loud or annoying. As for the remote, the buttons all work like they're meant too, however I think the room temp is off plus the remote sensing feature doesn't work.

Light weight. Easy install. Cools air quickly.

This machine does a great job at keeping my room very cool. The room was previously 86 degrees on average (sometimes as high as 93) and after being on for 24 hours the room temperature was down to 67 degrees. It has maintained this ambient temperature for the last month or so I have had it installed. I use this room as a home bakery so a cooler temperature is important for rolling out dough as well as tempering and storing chocolate. Bad wings

Air conditioner works just fine, Hard to get a good window fit. Needed to do a lot of improvising. Wings are junk.

Frigidaire 500 btu Window Air Conditioner!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NOTHING BEATS FRIGIDAIRE!! We have used so many other brands in air conditioners, and none comes close. This pumps more air and more cold air than the other 5 brands we have purchased. The extended warranty is a minimal price and is another great feature from Frigidaire!! I would give this 6 stars if I could with its functioning and all of the great features! Thank You, Frigidaire!!

Not Top Drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the eco mode. However at bit under-powered for a 100 squared foot room. Front panel lights difficult to read from across the room. Hard to read "mode" from 8 feet. Very, very noisy. Would not buy again.

Great simple a/c for a small room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does everything it needs to with a decent amount of options. Fan is a little on the louder side (even on low) so we don't use auto so it's a constant white noise at night. Cools our small bedroom down quickly (although, it's only a few feet larger than a king bed).

Where does the water drain? Model FFRE053WAE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noisy, but I would like to know where is the water going? I did see some condensation along the side of the unit and a little on the panels. I see no water dripping anywhere. Nothing in the windowsill and Ground is dry. It has been running for hours. It is also very humid with a dew point over 70.

Stay away

I live in a 12 x 18 studio apartment in New York. I am north facing and receive indirect light all day, but this unit barely cools my apartment. It takes about 20 minutes to get cold on the lowest setting and does not circulate the room at all. I have multiple fans on the opposite side of my studio in order to have a comfortable temperature, not a cold one. I can’t spend another $300 on an AC so it will do for this summer. Installation was easy which is why 2 stars not 1.
