Mostly Effecient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reasonably easy to install, though instructions were confusing and not enough rubber insulation material. Extra parts that were not shown in installation instructions, but apparently not need, as unit fits tight in window.

COOL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] easy to install. (Actually my daughter and her husband did it as I am in my mid +70's) instantly felt the cooling air when turning on. Higher SEER than our old one and also most of the ones I had seen on shopping. always trusted Frigidaire products.

The eco mode is the best thing on the planet. Not only does it save energy between cycles, it prevents the room from turning into a high humidity swamp. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Cool as a Cucumber

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Frigidaire air conditioner. The 1st one lasted over 10 yrs and could've lasted longer had there been an auto temperature function to shut on and off. It just ran to the point if it not cooling anymore. This new model purchase has that function and we'll see how long it lasts. I love the remote control and variable settings.

Works great for small bedrooms

My first impressions were that the box was smaller and lighter than I expected. It was very easy to take out of the box and set up. This thing is so small and looks sleek. l have the larger 10k BTU version and this one looks like a little baby version of the larger one, it’s cute. Very efficient on Batteries/Solar Offgrid setup!

I have 3 of these for off grid tinyhouses, eco mode is great at saving battery power and keeping things comfortable throughout the day and night. I’m running two of these off a 2000watt pure sine wave inverter with no issues.

Stinky sour smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gives off a sour smell. This unit does not have a drainage hole for the pan and says do not puncture. Only had a few months and the AC smells a very putrid smell. I will most likely have to buy something other than a Frigidaire. Very disappointed in quality of product.

It's amazing on electricity and holds up amazing to the California Mojave heat with days reaching upwards of 115° Fahrenheit. Since I bought this guy my quality of life has increased ten fold. This little guy kicks my swamp coolers butt.

Low energy draw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit because of the low amp draw as I have an old house even 6 amps was to much. This unit is less than 4 amps and effectively cooling a 12X16 room without shutting down. The plan worked, very happy with the purchase.
