Would Not RecommendThe exhaust that comes out the back is hotter than any cool air coming out the front.. I put it in a doorway since I don’t have a window.. even if I had a window why would I want that hot air next to my house. It’s already hot enough outside wo making it hotter!

Too Loud and Doesn't Cool as well as older model.

Would RecommendGenerally I liked it. Cold air seemed to work well. I would have preferred rolling castors. Important to inform people ac does not roll so when installing it central location is important. Remote control does not seem useful.

Portable AC 8000 BTU
Purchased unit in May of 2022, operated it May-August 2022, stored it from September until June 2023. Just set it up to use, blows hot air, followed all recommedations to get unit to work, finally viewed warranty, it has expired. Made in American to operate 3 months. Frigidare removed from list of any future purchases, no longer reliable.

Nice little portable AC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bedrooms in this old house are very small, so the BTU power was adequate. That said, the small room also made it a challenge to position the unit near the window with enough free space (but that’s my probem, not the AC’s). Getting the vent tubing on was MUCH better than a different brand’s that we also have. My only challenge was getting the vent to stay in position because of the old-style window sills. All in all a pretty good little AC.
