Works very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works good, cooling down my bedroom fast. I don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner, my bedroom has small sliding windows making regular window air conditioners impossible to use. I have it set on automatic so it turns on and off saving electricity by not running continuously.

P1 error message but tank not full

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine cools well when it’s working. We randomly get an error message that says the tank needs to be emptied when there is hardly any water in it. I know how to empty the tank and read instructions, this is a defect with the machine.

Great Value Portable AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this portable AC for use upstairs while we were without central AC for just over a week in Florida during July. Kept the room very comfortable and allowed us to stay home rather than having to stay in a hotel. Would highly recommend.

Unit works great, but separate annoyances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit itself works well. However, Frigidaire needs to re-size the window slider insert that comes with the unit. I have a standard size window, and when I installed the hard plastic window insert, it covered over half off the hole for the exhaust hose. This means at least half of the hot air coming out of the unit will be redirected to the unit and make it less efficient. Frigidaire’s instructions say to simply cut the insert as needed, not ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to cool a one bedroom apt. It set up easily and works well. It is set up in living room and I do have to use room fans to help circulate cool air to bedroom. Satisfied customer.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too good - uninsulated discharge hose is a very poor design. Putting more heat into a room that you’re trying to cool. Plus discharge window plate needs option to have exit Hoke in left or right side. Currently only installs to left side taking up more space in the room. The hose connector to the plate falls out from the pull of the hose, I had to put a piece of wood under it to take off the strain.

Potable AC unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has been a lifesaver. We have been able to cook our bedroom to 73 degrees while the rest of the house is near 90. Outside temps are hitting 100. Our house unit went out and we quickly needed something to cool an area in the home. The room is about 300sq ft. And it was a quick hookup and within about 2.5 hours it was a condereable different in temp and has maintained a decent temp without sending out electric bill sky high. I’d recomme...

Frigidaire 8000 BTU Portable Room Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier Mode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first portable A/C (always had windows units over the years). All Fridgidaire products (6 window A/Cs & 2 dehumidifiers). No hesitation in choosing this unit!! Cooled down a room quickly. Window kit is as good as they get (all kits are adequate.). We haven’t used the dehumidifier setting yet. 5👍🏽.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flexible connection pipe should have come with a thermal sleeve to prevent so much heat radiating from it. The instructions should have pointed out that the ends of the pipe have to be screwed in counter clockwise to attach to end pieces.
