Would Not RecommendWe bought a new house with this fridge. I wanted to replace the old filter (the older clear style) as it was full of gunk. The new design will not fit!!! This is all they offer. I'm so frustrated!!! I have a nice refrigerator but I'm still drinking tap water, as it's now safer than the old filter that's full of junk.

Salty Taste
Would RecommendReading the other reviews I see a lot of fit problems. We just installed the filter yesterday, and it seems so far to fit OK. However the water has a really salty taste, even after flushing it more than the recommended amount. I noticed this with the last filter too, but never before that. Has anyone else noticed this, and why would taste salty? Not sure if I would recommend it until I know what the taste is from.

Would Not RecommendI'm having same problem with the filter popping out. It popped out and busted the whole bottom of my refrigerator. Called frigidaire, they could care less. They told me my refrigerator wasn't under warranty so it was my problem. They never offered to change the housing on my refrigerator to accommodate the new filters.NEVER WILL BUY FRIGIDAIRE AGAIN!

I return with no problem and purchase another water filter and it leak too. My old water didn't leak. I purchase a water filter from a different store. The water filter is working correctly with no leak.
