GREAT METER

Would Recommend

I bought this meter to replace a 115 that was stolen from me. Since I was replacing the meter, I decided to upgrade to the 117. It has all of the features of the 1115 plus auto ranging and non-contact voltage detection. This eliminates the need to carry a separate voltage detector, which means one less tool to carry and keep track of. The 115 served me well and I expect the 117 will do so as well.

Good multi-meter; poor display.

Would Not Recommend

I like the look and feel of the product, however the display is substandard in the way it was designed to only be viewable at full contrast in a narrow view angle which is not even 90 degrees! The display needs to be almost at chest height on a desk with the kickstand or laid down flat on a desk to view the screen very well.

Best Multimeter I Have Owned

The 117 Multimeter has exceeded my expectations. In addition to all of its features, the display is the best I have seen when compared to other meters. Readings are steady. It is extremely well built. It feels good in your hand and has all the functions I would ever want. I also purchased the TL175 TwistGuard leads. Very flexible silicone, great combination. I believe it's a great value for the price. Very pleased and would highly recommend this meter for any application.

Still a #1 tool after 12+ years of use.

I bought this meter when it was new on the market. I have done work in 44 states without fail from my 117. I have taken extreme care of it as well. It still has the original film covering the display. (Pressed firmly so it clearly visible.) You won't be disappointed with your purchase. The "no contact volt alert" is definitely a time saver.

Good quality products. I always recommend Fluke.

I’ve always loved Fluke products and wish I could afford the bench top multi meter. My only negative review is that I ordered my 117 on April 10th and it didn’t ship until a month later. Other than that I’m a lifelong user of Fluke products. I’m an electromechanical technician and have used fluke meters in the Navy and on Military airfields and fuel farms as well as power plants.
