Would RecommendBeen using fluke multimeters for 15years. Quality is great. Performance is always what you expect and need daily at work. Don’t waste your time or money trying other brands. i do wish it came with some better leads in the standard kit but they work good. Just stiff in the cold.

Fluke 87v
I bought this specifically for automotive and electronics. The bonus to me is the temp probe now I can accurately calibrate my vintage stove thermostat.

Quality of life booster
Would RecommendI call the 87V a "quality of life booster" because I save time that is better spent with my family. The alternative is farting around with sketchy meters that I can't rely on. No thanks, I'll take my 87V!

This meter does it all
Would RecommendI replaced my old 87 from the 90’s that I bought while in mechanic school with this new 87 5 and I have to say that this new meter is everything that the old one was and more! Great product! I strongly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for an accurate and reliable piece of diagnostic equipment.

Rugged, Versatile, Dependable
Would RecommendI bought my 87V in 2006. It has never failed Calibration. It has kept calibration through international flights, extreme heat and extreme cold environments (160F to -30F) and minor drops. It surpasses Aviation accuracy requirements on every measurement it is capable of making. If you need reliable and accurate, you need this DMM.

Don't know why I waited so long
Would RecommendI bought this meter after questioning the accuracy of my UEI and Marco meters. After I got my fluke immediately loved it feels way higher qaulity and is extremely fast

Best DMM
Would RecommendVery best quality dmm, very useful essential features pack dmm. No hanky fanky features in it. But ac bandwidth is very low for smps and video related analog electronics servicing. Camper to price min 50khz required. If 100khz better than best. Present time all smps operate above 40khz. Fluke know it. I use Philips make PM 2718 past 20 years. I use 87v past 3 years. Meter work very good. No problem yet. Do something else for bandwidth. I like lifetime warranty from Fluke Corporation. Thanks.

Go-To tool, missing 1 great feature
Fluke is my go-to troubleshooting tool. However, I work in a building with hundreds of engineers. Everybody wants one and they like to "disappear". Would LOVE to see BLE module added to allow tracking location of "missing" or "borrowed" Fluke meters.

Great performer–but one nagging issue
Would RecommendI bought this meter less than a week ago and found it to be very robust and accurate. However, when switched to DC amps, the meter always reads 0.004 A disconnected from any load, with or without leads attached. In order to get accurate DC current readings, I must zero it out with the REL (delta) button first. Then the readings are spot on with my Fluke 177. This doesn't sound right to me. Shouldn't the 87V read near 0.000 A in DC amps position?

Very Good Meter
Would RecommendI've had this meter a couple of months now and like this meter. I knew being a Fluke it would of good quality. The reason I got this particular model was it covers all of the standard features in one meter. The main one that I needed was to be able to measure 4-20ma signals. As for me Fluke is the only meter to have. I've still got my first Fluke meter and it still works. It's a Fluke 77 from 1993.

Well Worth The Price
Would RecommendI've been using Fluke test equipment on and (much to my chagrin) off again for nearly 40 years. They have always been durable, reliable, accurate, and easy to use, and the 87V is no exception. I purchased the 87V to replace an aging 77 that "grew legs" and wandered off earlier this year. (Thinking back, I don't think I've ever had to replace a Fluke meter because it failed on me.) At first, I thought I could manage with a multimeter from another manufacturer. It worked, I suppose, but I m...

Accurate and Rugged
Would RecommendI am an Auto Technician that specializes in automotive electrical systems and computers. I have been doing this for 18 years. I use my Fluke 87V every day. I know that every morning that I go to turn it on, that it will work properly. It is extremely accurate and fast. Due to the speed of the meter, I can check computer networks buy using the min/max feature. Also the min/max feature allows me to check a vehicle for a parasitic draw. It has survived through very harsh environments. I would neve...

My Favorite Meter
Would RecommendI purchased the 87V meter about 9 months ago and it works great, It has become my favorite meter I like it's accuracy and easy to use controls. I've used Fluke products for a while now, and feel very comfortable with any Fluke product. I use it both professionally and also at home for electric, electronics and automotive. I like using the thermometer function so I don't have to remember to carry another device. It is extremely durable.

Workhorse
Would RecommendThe benchmark of the industry. There is very little that I have found can't be done with this meter, aside from power sourcing. Its user friendly and hold up to the environment. The magnetic tether strap is god sent at times.
