I’ve always used fluke day in and day out because it is the best out there , fluke 87v meter is the most reliable on the market .

Excellent for lab use

I bought this meter for myself because the less expensive ones that my company bought were unreliable and couldn't be trusted. The 87V is tried and true, accurate, and has more precision than lesser meters. I will rely on this meter for the rest of my engineering career.

Excellent Multimeter

After much review, decided on this multimeter to replace my 40 year old multimeter. This Fluke is amazing with its sensitivity and functions.

just a very good product!!!

I am in the RV Service field and got my first Fluke 87 V in 2005. I just had to replace it a couple of weeks ago and did not hesitate to replace it with the same one. And I will tell you I was not easy on the fist one. I did get a case for this one and will try to take better acre of it. It performed flawless for many years..I did look @ a snap on another tech @ work has but it really did not compare and was close in dollars so Fluke all the way for my. And I could not believe it is exact but ...

Quality Build

It's a good device, no issues to detail. I like the idea of having an extension that basically replaces an entirely separate meter. Make more kinds.

Lots of useful functions for troubleshooting and accuracy too.

Exactly What I Needed

Not only does it read voltages at different hz, the reason I purchased it, it has all the other features of cap, temp, OHM'S testing and more. Keeps me from carrying multiple meters and saves precious weight in mt toolbag.

Typically Great Tool

Bought this to replace a much older version. It's the same typical quality of all the Fluke tools. I do wish the "continuity beep" were louder for noisy locations. But otherwise well worth the cost, as always.

Great meter

I've had same 87 for over 10 years. Been dropped off ladders, leads getting caught on door handles where leads get ripped out of their sockets and various other types of abuse. Now I lost it. It's like losing my right hand. I'm a fire alarm tech. Best meter there is. Conductance feature is the best for finding those pesky intermittent grounds.

Dependable and aolt of features

It was purchased a few months ago and has worked very well. I work on refrigeration evaporator's and automation controls. It works with a lot of accessories.

Best meter on the market.

After my ‘80’s Fluke 87 finally went out, I purchased two different lower cost meters. Both of those new meters have had issues and been “retired.” I then purchased an 87V. My only regret is I didn’t simply purchase it sooner. It’s so precise and easy to use. If it lasts the 30+ years my old one did, it will be money well spent!

Absolutely the best!

After having used several cheap and questionable accuracy DMMs, I finally took the plunge, bought a Fluke 87V, and am I ever glad I did. It's already assisted me in tracking down several questionable electrical connections on my riding lawnmower that would not start. It's very nice to be able to trust both the resistance and microvolt measurements!
