Would RecommendI used the plastic flush valve kit to replace a valve and overflow pipe on a commode that has been in place for 70 years. Recent changes by the local water company's source has resulted in corrosion of copper, iron, and steel plumbing pipe and accompanying fixtures. The plush valve kit fit and hopefully will be corrosion proof from the treated treated mine water.

Would RecommendGetting a toilet unattached from the floor and cleaning up 25 years of wax ring was hard. Replacing this as part of a full refresh of the whole flushing system, was VERY EASY. All the tools you need are included for replacing the tank filling mechanism other than a simple screwdriver.
