Would RecommendOur toilet was running and I was able to use this seal to fix it without replacing the tank filler itself. Make sure your water valve to the toilet is really closed. I thought mine was closed, but it must have still been open a bit and water shot up from the tank filler. I had to tighten another quarter turn for the water to ease up.
