Would Not RecommendThe fill valve leaked. I called Fluidmaster and was instructed to disassemble the fill valve and flush. No improvement. Called again and told to remove rubber gasket and heat in 120 deg water for three minutes. Valve still leaked. Was told the problem is because the product could have on the shelf for a long time. Requested new fill valve assembly.

Would RecommendEverything worked/fit perfectly to replace the guts on a toilet that that was installed 25 years ago and was leaking at the flapper. Instructions are clear and it comes with plastic tools to complete the job for anyone lacking in tools. Also includes several gaskets for various brands.

Flapper Valve was pre-warped
Would Not RecommendWhen you finally get everything back together... and... why is it leaking? My flapper valve that came with the kit was warped in the back. Luckily, the old flapper looked like the same model so I used it and the leak stopped. Still, if you buy something new, you expect it to all work correctly without defects.

Flapper didn't seal
Would Not RecommendEverything went together and fit great, but when I was done, the flapper didn't seal and was leaking into the bowl. (New flapper, new overflow tube) When I felt around to see if there was anything obstructing the seal, a plastic part from within the flapper fell down into bowl fill part of the toilet. It'll be in there forever, hopefully won't cause a problem down the road. Still didn't seal I went to the local hardware store and bought the Fluidmaster flapper that doesn't have the adjustment...

Would Not RecommendFirst of all it works and has many options for various brands of toilets. Most parts work as intended, except the handle arm which is just too flimsy. It suppose to be bent to fit your tank but it is just too light weight so when the toilet is flushed it just bounces around and sometimes prevents the flapper from closing, or flips 180 degrees and keeps the toilet flushing. A two-flush mechanism would probably been a better choice but hindsight is always 20/20.
