What Customers Are Saying

These loppers are generally considered a high-quality and effective tool for cutting thick branches and shrubs. Customers praise the sharp blades, sturdy construction, and ratcheting mechanism that provides extra leverage and cutting power. Many note the loppers can handle branches up to 2 inches in diameter with ease. However, some had issues with the handles not being durable enough for the amount of force the blades can generate, and a few felt the product was overpriced. Overall, the consensus is that these are excellent loppers for cutting through larger, tougher vegetation, though they may not be the best choice for smaller trimming tasks.

Blade Better Than Anvil

Would Not Recommend

My previous lopper had a gear driven head with two blades for cutting where the new one has one blade against an anvil. I like the two blade design much better!

Poor Design

Would Not Recommend

Tough handles and cuts OK. However if you like smashing your fingers together due to poor design than this is worth considering. Very surprised there isn’t a stopper.

Fiskars

Good for thicker branches.

Would Recommend

It's good to have lopper that doesn't easily bend out of shape when dealing with branches up to its limit (2.25"). Even my wife was using it to trim branches for me and commented about how easy it was with the ratchet feature for her to cut through the bigger ones. It does have its limits though. I tried to cut a few that were over its limit and could feel it starting to bend. We didn't find its weight to be an issue.

Lop till you drop

Would Recommend

This sucker is so easy to use, so good at cutting off small tree limbs, and so much fun (assuming that you enjoy whumping up on mother nature) that after you finish in your yard, you will ache to spread your reign of limb lopping destruction over the entire neighborhood. You have been warned.
