Great scissors for heavy cutting

I have used the scissors to cut open packaging on a product that I bought and it sliced through the plastic and cardboard easily. I also have used to trim a lilac bush in my back yard. I like the grip handles. and the blades are quality.

The scissors arrived today, and I've already used them three times to cut: plastic bags, cardboard, and paper. The plastic bags/wrap was no challenge - the scissors cut through them with no effort, and there was no plastic residue on them after cutting. Heavy duty shears

This shears has a fine separation on the blade that is almost not noticable. It is smooth and comfortable to use. I have cut many items with it. Soda cans, plastic packages, magazine, heater hose, double cardboard, fuel line and more. Extended metal in the handle is visible. Very nice addition to the tool box.

Power Arc Scissors

A well made tool. I have been using to install very heavy duty zip ties and some light metal work. They are very sharp and I expect them to last a very long time. A great addition to my or any persons tool box.

Scissors

Overall these scissors did about everything I tried or expected them to do. They are very sharp and even cut a small wood dowel rod!! I like them for what they will do but for me they are somewhat cumbersome. I have smaller hands and they are pretty much made for larger hands or someone that wears gloves all the time. Overall I think they will do any scissors job you want them to

Made for larger hands

The feel of this scissor is sturdy. My hardy kitchen scissors cannot compare to the feel and cutting ability of these. I planed using it in my shop but by wife got a glimpse of and snatched them from me. She is a quilter that uses scissors daily. They fit my hands perfect but a little large for her. She still finds the cutting ability above average. Be careful, I can see someone cutting a finger while doing their trimming. The hand torque needed to operate is minimal, and a good fit for a senior...

Durable Scissors!

Honestly not sure if these scissors are designed for something in particular, but we have used them for many reasons in a short amount of time. From work in the garage to tough to open packages to things in the kitchen (not directly on food). Could not be more pleased with the product.

Mixed bag

These scissors are pretty sharp and will cut through sturdy items such as hard plastic (used in packaging), cardboard, and plant twigs. However, don't use it with one hand or you risk getting it caught between the handles, which is quite painful. It may require a redesign, but I have found two-handed use (somewhat awkward at times) to be effective.

Wow! Love These!

These scissors are great! They will cut anything! We have used them on cardboard, web belting ,rubber, cloth, plastic and sod. Cuts through everything like butter!

Useless

This item was completely useless for cutting vinyl.

Big Scissors are awkward to use

The scissors are like overgrown regular scissors so you feel like a little kid trying to use adult size scissors. They are awkward to use. The finger holes are too big and you don’t get that much more leverage than with regular scissors.

Cuts with plenty of power

Cut nicely with plenty of power. only problem was some blistering caused by rough edge in lower (finger) grip. Use gloves or take a file to it, if you're cutting a lot of material.

Fiskars PRO

From the time you take these scissors out of the packaging you can tell they are no joke, very heavy duty and comfortable while using (Right Handed). Anything I tried cutting with them with around the house or garage they cut with ease. If you were going to buy one pair for all your household or garage needs, I would highly recommend the Fiskars PRO.

Got to have

I love these sissors. I'm ashamed to say I've never owned a pair of sissors this good. I have cut heavy plastic, cardboard, and carpet with them. Easy peasy. Every handyman should try these Fiscars sirrors. I'm really impressid with the quality and performance. You can't go wrong with these. I would not recommend cutting anything that would damage the blades lile heavy electrical wire but i did cut through a 3 wire braded powet cord with ease.

Good quality shears

This shears are very good quality, the only bad thing is the ergonomic design of the handle is made to use right handed. But the design is good and works well. The serrated blade is sharp, have been able to cut cardboard and also cut cable ties. So far they are keeping their edge and remain sharp. The are well co strutted and sure with the serrated edge and design that I will be able to find many useful items that will need these shear to cut or trim.

A cut above the rest

These scissors are certainly the best I have ever used. They will cut just about anything. In the short time I've had them, I have used them every day. They can be used to cut many thicknesses of paper at once, as well as heavy cardboard, and thick fabric. I can't imagine that I have not had a quality product like this before. I would recommend these 4.1" serrated PRO PowerArc Scissors to everyone. The only thing negative I can think of is that the handles are somewhat too big for my wife's smal...

Comfortable, Heavy Duty, and Easy to Use Scissors

The scissors work great. Easily cuts through a variety of materials. The handles are comfortable and have a great feel. Even my 74 year old mother in-law loved them. Perform more like shears than scissors. After easily tackling items like cardboard, zip ties, and rope, tried to figure out what the best test would be. Decided carpeting would be a good choice. Cut through carpeting like it was paper. The scissors are designed for right handed cutting.
