Does a great job.

I love this tool. I have something similar that I have had for a long time but it is not as good as this tool. The shaft is nice and long so you can easily get down under the roods to get the whole plant our without it breaking off and leaving the rood to regrow. The handle is comfortable and there is good leverage to pry with. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Weeding Tool

Tool works great for weeding in my hard clay soil. Easily penetrates deep into soil allowing easy removal of ugly weeds.Overall 12" long .Has a good handle with a thumb indent that works well .Also a hole to hang it up.Its another quality Fiskars product.Im never disappointed.

Better than I expected.

I have a similar product that came with a set of garden tools. I never knew what it was. Turns out, this works pretty good to extract weeds. With dandelions, it gets a good portion of the root, rather than just the top. It's not terribly difficult to use, but it does require some hand and arm motion. If you have a lot of weeds, it could take awhile.

Not for all weeds

Fishers Weeder was not easy to use on ripping up weeds. I could not find the central root to grab on to in order to get the Weeder to make the job of removing the weed easy. The weed I choose had many roots and not main root. I pushed the Fishers Weeder into the ground all around the weed to try to loosen it up. I ended pulling the weed out as if I didn’t use the Weeder at all.

Simple to use, works well.

This hand tool is simple and pretty self explanatory on how to use. The handle is comfortable and a good size. It's not too heavy but is sturdy. Feels durable but only repeated use will tell if it is long lasting. I've only had it a couple of weeks and have used 3 or 4 times.

Simple, easy to use

Really helps to get the deep rooted weeds out. To keep weeds from coming back you need to get the whole root and this tool helps. It’s a very simple design and I had my doubts that it would be of any use but it actually really is helpful. It’s especially helpful for getting the whole dandelion root out because they have deep roots almost like a carrot. It also fits in the hand nice and is the perfect size for its job.

So here’s the deal. It’s a weeding tool. Weeding isn’t fun, weeding tools aren’t cool and no one looks forward to weeding. It works

It didn’t come with instructions. I’ve never used a tool like this before so I wasn’t sure what to do. But I stuck it in the ground by the weed and turned it, pulled up and it came out by the root. The ground wasn’t rock hard but not too soft either (it’s summer and we need more rain) but I didn’t have to use too much effort. I’m going to do more research on the proper way to use this but so far I think it’s pretty cool and definitely good for smaller weeds that don’t have roots too deep.

Simple tool, big help

I have few broad leaf weed types that pop up around my yard and landscaping but are mainly dandelions. I have a couple types, larger and small and skinny. I’ve had difficulty pulling the smaller ones with the root out especially when it’s dry out. This tool is simple, fast, and efficient to use. Handy Product

I like the sleek look of this tool and its also very comfortable to use. It makes removing the weeds a pretty quick process. The tool does what it is supposed to and so far tried this only for the small weeds that pop up here and there in my lawn and works great.

Wow, I was surprised!

When I first saw the tool, I didn't think it would work, but I really was surprised. Although is small, it works very good, it's light and comfortable to hold. You can get decent leverage to pop out the weed, even with the tool being straight instead of curved. I actually like the straight shank better, easier to guide under the weed and easier to push into the soil. The one thing I wish it has is a lanyard to put your hand through or to hang up. Great weed puller

This weed puller works great. Very sturdy and well made. The handle is made of very hard plastic and the shaft is made from solid steel.This hand tool punctures the ground well to get to the weed root.

solidly made, comfortable to use, and effective

Hand weeders are such simple tools, and yet so many of them are made poorly. The handle doesn't stay attached, the shaft bends, or it's just uncomfortable to hold. I put in a solid day of weeding with this one and it's great. The handle is very securely attached to the shaft. Great for others, but not for me.

At first I was excited to get this, however it just isn’t a good fit for me personally. My biggest complaint is that it is to straight. The one’s that I’ve had in the past have had a slight curve to it which for me made it much easier to use. With that being said, it has a nice little spot you can put your thumb & does what it needs to do.
