Parts aren’t replaceable

We purchased this mower in 2021 to replace an electric mower whose battery had died and was no longer available. Our yard is fairly small, and this model got the job done. We felt great about our choice until one of the wheels broke. I contacted Fiskars for a replacement (that’s a whole nother story—there’s no way to call them. Great little mower even at 5 years!

This is my 5th summer using the StaySharp, and I've never had to sharpen it! I'm an older female with health problems, so if I can do it, then most others can too. It gives you a sense of accomplishment when you're finished and you've gotten exercise as well. The handle tilts up for storage, and it's lightweight and fairly easy to lift. I love how quickly you can change cutting heights on the fly! My lawn is very weedy, so I do a back-and-forth pass on the same strip to catch anything it missed....

Best Push Mower I ever had!

I'm on my second StaySharp. My first one lasted at least 8 years. If the height adjuster hadn't stripped out, I'd still be using my first one! I saved parts and doubled up the real drive wheels on my new one to increase displacement and avoid creating ruts. I also rescued a 3rd StaySharp to rejuvenate and sell. Or keep it?!?!

After owning this mower for over 8 years...it has worked perfectly. Clean cutting, easy to adjust/sharpen and chews through fescue and st augustine. Very durable mower! Not sure what the negative reviews are about, but I've never had a mower in my life that has worked so well over such a long period of time.

Over 10 years of solid lawn mowing

Bought this mower over 10 years ago and it's still going strong. I've needed a few replacement parts twice in that entire time. Highly recommend.

Best Reel Mower

I have had this mower for going on 3 years, and still enjoy the mower. I keep the chain well oiled, and haven't needed to sharpen the blades yet, but i should look into it. I do keep the mower away from the elements so I'm assuming this has kept it from rust. Only downsides of the mower is that it is not easy to make sharp turns, you can not let the grass grow too long (it will not cut long seed stems from grass or other taller stems), and finally like other reel mowers it can only cut very thi...

After buying 3 of these in the last 3 years, I will not be buying another Fiskars reel mower. I sharpened blades according to Fiskars video and now my mower is dragging and scalping. The blades are adjusted correctly. I always mow on the lowest setting which is typical of Bermuda grass but now it's scalping and the next height setting up won't even touch the grass. Slices and diced

On my second season with this mower. It is excellent and have had ZERO issues. Speaking of Zero; no gas emissions or oil changes. You hippies like that, right?? Get off your duff and do it manuelo style.

Works well but support is not convenient

I have had this for a few years and it now needs some repairs, but there are no manuals or parts lists available on the website, nor any replacement parts available here. Instead of going to a hardware store and getting the part I need - just a bolt - I have to go through warranty, and it is out of warranty.

Simply Great

I've had this mower for several years - I love it!

This will not cut grass over a certain height and that makes it a bit useless. I was eager to buy and use.. no gas not electric, no destroying environment - i guess. but it is not what i hoped for!

Far superior to other reel mowers

I have had the Fiskars Stay Sharp mower for about four years and found it far superior to other reel mowers I have used in the past. The height adjustment knob is easy to use. and the adjustable deflector allows clippings to be sent forward or backward. A couple of small issues I've found: on rare occasions, the adjustment knob comes out of the notch it's in and moves to another setting; and the deflector has a hard time staying in the "up" position to throw clippings to the back so I keep a cla...

A good mower for specific situations

I bought this mower last spring and held off on writing a review until it had seen most of a mowing season. This mower replaced a battery mower that I used for a few years until it died. I wanted to like this mower, and for the first few cuts of spring when the grass is nice and tender and the weeds aren’t popping too bad it did an alright job. Very difficult assembly!

The handle is much too difficult to assemble and attach. I am returning this mower.

Easier than you think

I love that it burns calories and not gas and its so quiet

Broke after one use. The blade would not spin forward last the metal. It worked great the first time and I was very excited about it
