Not Enough Information in Product Description
Would RecommendI couldn't actually look at one, because it was not available at my Lowes. The product description did not include the width of the window sill it would fit over. So I went ahead and bought it online and sadly, the part that hooks over the window sill was too narrow to fit over mine, so I had to return it. My window sill and window is 13 inches from the inside wall to the outside wall. My guess is you'd have to have about an 8-inch wide wall for this product to work...

Peace of mind
We purchased this product as our bedroom has two egresses but one is a patio with no way to the lower floor/ground. Should we ever need it we can safely evacuate and have the peace of mind we have safe options to get to safety.
