This seems to be a good smoke detector. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to set it up through the app. It was also easy to install physically. It had the added advantage during installation of being able to be rotated at almost any angle, so you don't have to worry about getting the mounting ring put up correctly for the sides to align how you want them to. This Smart Photoelectric Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detector is amazing. First thing that you will have to do is download the app, and set up your account and device. You can also connect your device to your Smart Home devices that you correctly use. It will take you under 5 minutes to install your device to the wall or the ceiling.

The battery backup means when the power goes out you still have peace of mind that it will work until power returns. Super simple to install, and a clean look that inspires confidence. Install was fairly easy using the First Alert App. Disappointed that I could not use the Nest App and had to sign up for Google Home. There is no motion activated light like the old ones used to have

Easy to set up and looks niceon the eyes. I installed ghe mount not far from the gas fire place . I thought i would get some false alarms but so far so good. I would highly recommend

wow! I can’t believe how cool this smoke and carbon monoxide detector is! It really has all the bills and whistles of a product made for 2026. It connects to the app it’s easy to use. It’s very easy to set up within the app. It seems very straightforward. I hope they have ones that are also battery operated. I am going to look for those next!

After reading some reviews I was a little concerned about the connection but to my surprise it connected immediately and no issues so far. The set up process was simple quick and easy to download. The best

This is by far the best carbon monoxide/smoke alarm combo I've ever installed. While it's a bit more complicated with the hardwire, I love that it has a back up battery incase power goes out. I was easily able to connect the device to my google home app and monitor on the go. The device is also home design friendly and doesn't "stick out".

The First Alert SC5 smart smoke and CO alarm is really nice. It was easy to replace an older First Alert smoke alarm with the same hardwired harness. Two screws to put the new bracket up, popped the harness in place and turned the alarm onto the bracket. The First Alert app was easy to set up and had great instructions for installing the alarm. It integrates easily with my Google Home as well. All good things to say about this unit.
