The perfect replacement smoke alarm
Would RecommendThe smoke alarms in my house were the originals when the house was built in 2006, really?? I was shocked that the previous owners were clueless that alarms need to be replaced at least every 10 years. These First Alert smoke alarms were the perfect replacement as the plug AND the ceiling mounting plate were the same so all I had to do was plug the new alarm in. Brilliant!! :-)

Great replacement for my 20 year old detector
Would RecommendReplaced 6 detectors in my home with these. Installation was a breeze and they work great. The included 3 different wire adapters that cover most wiring configurations you will see these days. A nice bonus was the 9V battery included with each unit. Well priced at $29 in my opinion. Hopefully these last several years (aside from the batteries).
