Too many false alarms

Would Not RecommendReplaced my original ones with these. Wirst mistake. Have gad these 2 years. Change batteries every six months. They go off at least 1x per month for no reason in the middle of the night, evening, day time, etc. with no cause. At this point if we ever had a real cause we would sadly think it is another false alarm. Piece of crap! Will be replacing with any other brand but First Alert.

Would Not RecommendThis unit has given way too many false alarms. We purchased an entire set in 2019 and we have gone through several false alarms in the middle of the night. I am writing a review now because one has completely failed, and we cannot stop the thing from going off moments after it is reinstalled. We will try another brand.
