Would Not RecommendEasy to install but directions on drilling were hard to follow. It’s best to note the offset in the bracket for when the detector locks in- and then drill the holes, put the bracket in and just tighten the screws down, rather screws first and rotating the bracket in place.

Works Great
I will buy two more when I finish my basement. I installed two of them this past weekend and I tested one of them with a piece of burning newspaper. It worked as expected. If you sleep through one of these, you are obviously a heavy sleeper.
