Malfunction Junction
If you’re looking to be woken up at all hours of the night and scared half to death then this smoke detector is for you! Since purchasing this pack just under a year ago, we have had four separate detectors malfunction at all hours of the day/night. All of which waking up and scaring our newborn baby. Can’t believe we wasted almost $300 on these detectors just to have to purchase different ones after less than a year.

Cheap quality
I installed 6 of these and in less than one year two of them went bad, they go off and even after taking them out side the keep going off for over 30 minutes. Had to deactivate them to finally make them stop.

Of the 6 CO/smoke detectors purchased, 1 of them lasted just 1 year then the alarm went off but none of the others did including 1 about 8 feet aw in an adjacent bedroom. When I silenced it, it came back on and even when I used the "deactivate" switch it continued to blast. I had to break open the case & cut the wires to silence it.

Unpackaged in Box
The six smoke alarms came unpackaged in a box. Not sure if they are used or box box items new. I thought they would individually come in a sealed container.

Impossible to make returns pulls you to screen
