Would RecommendThe 10 year battery included in these smoke detectors is going to be a great help. Our ceilings are tall in many parts of the house were we have detectors and the annual battery change was a bit of a hassle without a 10ft ladder, and having to lug the heavy ladder all over the house. I'm glad to give up that annual task for the easy of having the 10 year battery backup. The smoke detectors easily interconnected with the other smoke and CO detectors in our home. Didn't receive them!
Ordered these to prep to seel my house as smoke detectors in every room is a requirement. I tried to order them for delivery but they didn't ever arrive. Had to spend time online with customer service to find out they were lost in transit.
