bad product - 3M basic Filtrete

I bought these filters and I regretted I did. There are three filters in a package and all of them should have failed quality control. There are various spots throughout each filter that have barely any filtering material/fiber. I had to buy another filter to help in the process. I still believe that 3M products are excellent inspite of this one.

Basic Pleated User Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality constructed filter that has kept my house dirt & dust free during the summer months. I have switched to this line of 3M filters because they were recommended by the gentleman who cleaned my duct work a few months back. Less dust on my tables and furniture. Very happy with the filtering capability of this filter.

Living clean

Catches that dust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I change filters they really have caught a lot of dust. The old filters used to leave a dusty ring around the rim where the filter sets but not these! Clean as a whistle.

These filters fit perfectly as the size indicated.

They may not stop the tiniest bits of pollen but they do a good enough job. And for something we are going to use and throw away in three months, they are certainly a good value for the price. We have also used the more expensive filters and they did no better during allergy season than these have done.

Great Product and Buy

I purchased this item approximately 2 months ago. I have noticed the reduction of dusting I have to do in the past. Going from 2 twice a week to one has made a great difference. I have always been quite pleased with the Filtrete company and all of its products under the umbrella.

dependable quality

I have tried cheaper filters and keep coming back to this one. In Florida, we aircondition year round and it is vital to me to have the cleanest possible air in my home. The difference in what is captured by Filtrete is amazing. Will stick with this product

Bought this filter so I wouldn't have to worry about a monthly change. Noticed a difference first time my heater fired up. My place smells better and I'm confident that fewer microbes are making their way into my home.

Keeps your home fresh

I've been using Filtrete filters for several years. They work better than any other brand. Keeps my chore of dusting down to a minimum.
