Grow another arm, the hand will be very "handy"

The instructions were "nostalgic", requiring that the blades be assembled onto the fan motor assembly BEFORE hoisting the whole thing up, and conveniently NOT having a hanging hook, instead requiring the down rod ball assembly be set in the hanger bracket before completing the wiring...ahhh the "good old days" (said no one ever!)

Worth the Price

Sleek design. We totally enjoy the functions: different light settings and the dim light feature.

Poor instructions and steps for disassembly

To many vague steps, including disassembly of components.

Great fan, horrible light

Purchased/installed in 2022 and the fan itself is great. We have it in a medium room and it has great air flow, is quiet, and looks nice. The light is AWFUL. It is way too dim (even on the "highest" setting) and doesn't have different color settings like most lights at this price point. If I had known how difficult it would be to replace the dim, yellow light with a daylight kit I would have gotten a different fan.

2 words: Proprietary and Complicated

This Fanimation Aire Drop fan is a discontinued model (at least in the white color) I did receive a decent discount due to that fact, so I'm going to keep it and give it a chance. In all fairness, I haven't installed it yet. I did open up the box and checked the operation by bench testing the motor assembly and LED light. I have read maybe 1/2 of the reviews here on the Lowes website. I will confirm that this fan is one of the more complicated fans I have ever encountered. I'm a 35 year master...

Awkward

From an installation standpoint this is a terrible fan. Had to charge a customer more to install this fan than it should have cost because of the terrible design if you have this installed by professional be sure to let them know that it is not a standard fan. The ceiling fan must be completely taken apart in order to install the blades and this must be done before you hang the fan, just the opposite of how every standard fan is hung blades and light kit go on last with a standard fan.

Hard to wire

Love the light. It was hard to wire. Had to get a electrician.

We bought one of these fans and liked them so much we purchased two more. Light is bright. Easy installation. Quiet operation. Have had them a year. Would buy again.

Receiver Died After A Year

I'm really disappointed how long the fan lasted. A little over a year the unit will no longer communicate. It's not a problem with the remote, it's the receiver that died out. Light stays on, fan is off, and no matter what the receiver will not change the setting. I have Bond Home setup to it also since install and that can't change it either. That's why I know it's a receiver problem and not the remote. Not worth it.

Great fan

This is a great fan at a great price. Looks sleek ans modern. Was quick to assemble and hang!

Not very bright

I put this light over a kitchen table. The light's brightness is similar to mood low light dining at its highest level of white light. Very sad as the design is nice but the light is poor. Will take back.

These fans are quiet and efficient

We absolutely love these fans. We had two in our old house, and have just moved. We couldn't live without them here, so we bought two more. Have yet to install them, but have no doubt they will be great. They provide great airflow, and are so quiet.

Nice fan especially for the money.

I like the sleek design. It's quiet on low but I can hear it a tiny bit on higher speeds. The remote is okay. I really wish these fan companies would come up with a remote that fit into a decorator wall plate. I would love to wall mount it.
