Looks nice but quality is bad

I bought this fan back in 2016. It looks great and moves a lot of air. However the problem with it is the inside parts they use. Fanimation uses a 'receiver' inside the fan for the remote. These receivers are very fragile electronics- so fragile that I'm on my 3rd one! For an item at this price point, I shouldn't have to replace a part every few years. My parents have old wood grain hunter ceiling fans in their house from the 1980's that still work flawlessly to this day and they don't need an $...

Great price

This fan is a great size for the price. We looked at other large fans for the pole barn/man hangout and we couldn’t beat this one for the price.

Ceiling gap

It works great but there's a huge 1 inch gap between the ceiling and the cap. It's so irritating. They need to design that part better. The cap just needs to be deeper.

Great Fan but wireless receivers keep dying

We bought this fan in July of 2022. Paid $320 for it. We loved the fan. It was quite, pushed a lot of air, and had dimmable lights. In October of 2023 it stopped working. Electrician determined the wireless receiver was bad. Fanimation sent me a replacement for free. Electrician the replace receiver in April of 2024. Fan stopped working again in November of 2025. Electrician determined it was the wireless receiver again. Fanimation sent another receiver. I asked about a wall mount controlle...

Best Fan for my Location

Was easy to install, with a 6’ down rod. I added my own style 15” light instead of the supplied light.

Replaced twice

It is a beautiful fan and when it works, it is amazing. I bought the fan for my patio and worked great for the first year. I ended up replacing the fan because it stop working. The new fan ended up working for about a year maybe two. It is the same thing, the fan quit working.

Ceiling fan

I bought 2 if these 5 years ago. I broke. The other is doing fine. I hope this one works well. I’ve had some ceiling fans for 25 years and never had to replace. I love this model. We’ll see! 🤞🏻

Great fan!

Great size for the amount. Just make sure you are installing on a regular switch and not a dimmer.

Paint

Less than a year and all the paint is peeling off, they are under a roof and we don’t live near the sea, so there’s no reason for this to happen, pure garbage.

Very Dependable

This is a great fan for under a patio cover. We bought two of these over 5 years ago from Lowes. Both were turned on and kept on. Only real problem we encountered was a leak in the patio cover let water into one fan's junction box and it dripped into the fan shorting something out. We bought 2 of the slingerV2's. On BOTH the remote stopped working w/in 6 months. DO NOT BUY! JUNK!!! SHAME on a company selling their INFERIOR products in America! They say they are an "American" company. I be EMBARRASED if it were my company! JUNK!
