Would RecommendI use this to clean old carpet stains at Macy's. It gets out a lot of old stains. It is a guessing game of what type of stains are on the carpet since most will turn a dark color eventually. Some stains will turn red after starting to spot clean it, so those types of stains often need a specific product for getting red stains out. A small bottle of this only costs under $7. The big bottle is approx. $18.

Clearly someone had spilled a drink but never told me, so it settled and turned color. But I had to use nearly half the bottle to see any change. And it only came one shade lighter. I wasn't expecting miracles, but I was expecting to see more than that, even on an old stain.
