We love the filter, the only complaint is the faucet was in chrome and we needed to purchase the brushed nickel faucet separately. Maybe I overlooked the option.

Good filtration, but poor canister sealing design

I’m on my third ExpressWater system. It does an excellent job,of filtration, but the canisters often cannot be sealed water tight using the plastic canister wrench they provide, which is well known on the Internet fora but was not known to,me. If you must buy this system, you should buy a strap wrench, gaskets, and food quality lubricant. I’ve provided this feedback directly to your support team.

Cant screw on canisters

Bought from them 5 years ago and it was perfect. Replacement i got brand new and couldn't screw on the canisters. They wouldn't make contact with seal. I don't get how everything is getting made cheaper and crappier. Make it better not worse.

Not as clean water running as with old one

I don’t know what’s the reason, but water testing devise shows level 0. 32 on our new filtering system. The old our system showed 0. 06 when it was new. May be with the time the measurements will show lower

A great value!

A great value! Well written instructions for installation. The only thing I was surprised with is that the installation kit no longer includes a piercing valve. We were able to complete the installation with the included valve.

Noticeable Difference In Taste Of Water

Ordered online and received it within 3 days. I did a self install and it was very simple with all the correct fittings included. Water tastes better than before and we are very happy with it.

good for the price but a little slow on water flow

some connections leaked and i had to replace with brass compression fittings for under $10. this unit replaced a 20 year old 4 stage RO unit that started to leak. i liked that unit came with some extra parts that can be used in the future to replace other original parts should it be needed. i used a plumber to install the new faucit in the hard to reach space behind the sink, but the rest of the unit i was able to install by myself (I'm a 73 yr old man). the only negative and the reason f...

First rating

I am mostly satisfied with my new RO system. There are two things that I would like explanation on. First, the air bubbles, which are very present every time you tap new water. They do dissipate but slowly. Secondly, I get a little squeal in the lines halfway through pouring a glass of water. Any comments?

Bought it again for our new house

Just installed the RO5DX in our new (to us) house. Pretty easy as I had put in the same system seven or eight years ago in our old house. Liked the RO water so much couldn't go without it. (Best compliment is when you buy it again). I also installed permeate pumps inline in each system. Saves a lot of water and fills the tank much faster.
