What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this chop saw for exceptional cutting performance and precision across steel, aluminum, pipe, and angle iron, delivering clean, burr-free cuts without sparks or post-grinding. Reviewers highlight the cool-to-touch results, accurate 45-degree and square cuts, sturdy quiet construction, and lightweight design that saves significant time compared to older saws. Cold Cut Saw
Would RecommendThe base does not have preset holes with pin for common angles such as 90, 45, 30, and has to be measured each time they are adjusted.
So far so good, hard to continue my project in the snow but I was wildly impressed with this saw. Being that the evolution 355cpsl is my first chop saw I have a learning curve, I love the mitre angle cuts and how smooth they come out to be. I cut on 1/4” mild steel angle, and 1/4”x3” inch C channel. I’ll be waiting for the weather now, eager costumer

I feel that the quality of the saw is well built, but the carbide blade doesn't work good for cutting thicker material. i cut about 12 pieces of angle iron and it did a good job. then i needed to make 2 35 degree angle cuts on 2"x4" mild steel tubing, 1/4" thick sidewall. the blade cut about half way through and totally quit cutting. the carbide teeth showed a lot of wear. i ended up finishing the two cuts with my old dewalt chop saw with an abrasive blade. I feel the carbide blades would cut ...

I had reservations about this tool for a long time and never had any ideas how much better it would make my day cutting with it. It everything I needed and more. I am so thankful to be able to purchase this product and I want to get the next version miter saw when I can. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a cold cutting saw to buy this one it’s worth it money in gold. I built my own saw stand for it.

Very sturdy, and compact. Large hex wrench makes blade changes and angle adjustment easy. Don't regret buying this tool at all.

This saw is mind blowing... its so powerful yet so lightweight compared to my wood cutting miter saw. This saw is well built, and the design of the vise makes the job smooth and efficient. I love the v-block, just wish there was a place to store it on the saw. Also love how all you need is the 1 supplied Allen wrench to make blade changes or other adjustments, AND how there's a place to store the Allen on the base of the saw. All in all 5 Don't hesitate just buy it I promise you won't regret i...

Works great. It cuts through metal way better than I thought it would. Highly recommend this tool.

Saw works great. Would recommend this to any one who needs a chop saw. Only one concern. Do not trust the angle guide for accurate measurements. I used a speed square to get accurate straight cuts and 45 degree cuts.

This is an excellent tool. The cuts are extremely clean, and it saves me all kinds of time and prep work.

Great Saw
I own a 7 1/4” Evolution saw that does a fantastic job just too small for what I needed. The quality of that saw made it easy for me to choose my bigger saw. This saw is heavy and powerful. It doesn’t chatter like some smaller light weight saws and cut’s extremely smooth. I’d highly recommend this saw. The only thing I would like to see is the degree marks painted. They are hard to see.

I just got into welding at home. The Evolution saw was recommended online in countless reviews... so I went for it. Zero regrets! It cuts great! Chips do fly and it's loud, so wear eye protection (I use a full face shield) and ear protection. All around a solid tool.

Cuts 6mm thick mild steel like a butter. Actually I had to deal with more resistance from the butter before than from this piece of steel on that chop saw... Cut is clean and the only marks left are from the hand control and side to side vibrations. I suspect with some extra time spent on removing hinge play and maybe adding automatic feed it would be mirror like finish... Very pleased so far!
