My area welder showed me his S380CPS cold saw and demonstrated it to me after I asked him about his portable band saw. I'm retired and like to work with metal on a hobby basis and I cut metal primarily with a hand-held cut-off saw and a standard chop saw. He suggested a cold saw and I'm glad he did. I bought one and my only disappointment is that I bought the chop saw first before I bought this cold saw. I would have never guessed that this saw and blade cuts metal like it does. No regrets ...

I love it. This thing cut though 1/2 plate like I was cutting a 2x4 on my miter saw. Wish it came with the 15 inch blade for this price but very worth the money

Everything seems to cut square right out of the box. The only complaint I have is the retaining bolts on the chip collection tray is pretty messed up. The Allen wrench barely opens it up. It's just a bad bolt, but if I can't get my chip tray out there could be issues... It doesn't even look like an Allen bolt the head is so deformed.

This saw lives up to the hype. It cuts metal far safer and with less heat buildup than an abrasive wheel. Cuts are clean and precise. Blade life remains to be seen, but overall I'm extremely happy.

I have had some name brand cutoff saws before. They are not even close to the quality of this saw. You can see and feel the quality in your hands. The multiple angle cutting depths for cutting material is awesome. Also there is no comparison between metal toothed cutting blades and fiber material blades. The metal toothed blade makes clean and accurate cuts with little sparks. The metal also does not feel like a torch cut it after a cut is made.

I was using an abrasive disc for cutting metal prior to this purchase. It made a HUGE mess with metal dust everywhere including in my nose. The Evolution Saw makes ALL the difference in metal cutting. Now I just have metal chips instead of dust. Much cleaner for the air in the shop and easier to clean up….the chips are visible!

EVERYTHING THAT I HOPED FOR
The S380CSP is a well designed and well built 15" cut off saw I used it.to cut through 1-1/2" thick 6061 T6 aluminum plate, 2-1/2" 6061 T6 aluminum bar, 1-1/4"OD x .900" DOM steel and 2" square tubing this week. It cuts effortlessly and squarely. It is quick and easy to change blades for different materials using the supplied Allen wrench and spindle lock. I'm extremely satisfied with this tool.
