What Customers Are Saying
The product receives mixed reviews. Many customers find the logs easy to light, long-burning, and producing a clean burn. However, some customers report the logs are difficult to light, burn unevenly, produce excessive ash, and do not generate sufficient heat. A few also note an unpleasant odor when burning the logs. Overall, the product may be a suitable budget-friendly option for some, but may not meet the needs of all customers.

These logs STINK while burning
Would Not RecommendMy whole house smelled like burning plastic and cheap wax. Ugh. We had 6 boxes of these. Every log out of every box, smelled the same. Horrible. They also left quite a mess of waxy oily substance all over the fireplace. I will neverrrr buy this brand again.
Cheaper, Cleaner oprion
Would RecommendMuch better than Duraflame logs. Might not burn as long, but a much cheaper option and cleaner.

Horrible
Would Not RecommendChemical smell plus the scent of burning crayons when you are finally able to get these lit. They leave so much ash behind that 1 log fills the fireplace with ash sip past the 1st level of the log holder. They smoke like crazy so make sure you have your flue open completely or your apartment or house will fill with rancid smoke. Not recommended at all!

Easy and long lasting
Would RecommendI've been using Enviro logs for a few years now in our fireplace. Had the chimney inspected recently and it was clean. These logs are super easy to start if you just follow the instructions and they burn longer than Duraflame. My house doesn't smell like a fireplace and I'm burning recycled material instead of trees. I just wish they were a bit less expensive.
Cozy fire
Would RecommendClear instructions, easy to light, large flames. Overall, a cozy fire that's simple to start and beautiful to watch.

Enviro-Log
Would Not RecommendThe Enviro-log is a nice idea- recycled waxed cardboard; and I absolutely support re-cycle efforts. These logs are handy, light quickly, and can be depended on to burn 3-4 hours, so are great for the evening. However, there is a major downside to them. They produce a great deal of smoke which makes it uncomfortable for the people trying to enjoy the fire pit. My guests were coughing and choking when the wind blew in their direction. It finally got so bad that I moved the still smolderin...

Quick and easy
Would RecommendWe liked this product, has a good burn time. I recommend taking the paper off, it did make a little extra smoke in the area.

Great log!
Would RecommendPerfect for quickly getting a fire going with just enviro logs or starting a wood log fire. Will be buying more.
Make large piles of ash and more difficult to get lit and stay lit than other logs we've used.

Would Not RecommendHard to light and burn had to build a fire under the log to get it to burn

Dead logs
Would Not RecommendI followed directions exactly and when the paper burned off the logs were cold and dead. I had to spend a great deal of time holding matches and candles to the log to get any burn. Each end would burn a bit . When it finally caught, there wasn't much of a fire. And that was true for 5 of the 6 logs in the same box. Never again.

Terrible
Would Not RecommendMost logs didnt stay lit, i had to light news paper underneath them to get them going. I went back to Duraflame from coatco.
Terrible product
Would Not RecommendWe bought these for the environmentally friendly aspect. Had to re-light after the paper burned off (we followed the instructions), and it's very smokey and smells like burning trash. Mainly because it is, it's just recycled cardboard. After over an hour the ends are barely burning so it's going to burn awhile just not very warm and very stinky smoke.
Warm but smokey
Would RecommendThe loges were a bit smokey than others. I noticed the materials used were probably recycled chips causing more than usual smoke compared to other style loges. I just prefer less smokey loges.

Always reliable fire logs
Would RecommendThese are so handy and so reliable. I use one or two alone for a basic fire, or more likely use them to start burning quickly and then cause one or two more wood logs to catch. I don't have to keep checking on the fire for quite some time.
