What Customers Are Saying
This ceiling light socket appears to have mixed reviews. Many customers found it easy to install and suitable for basic lighting needs, appreciating its affordability and functionality. However, a significant number reported quality issues, with the plastic housing cracking or breaking easily. Some also noted it is not a true 3-way socket as advertised. Overall, it seems to be a decent budget-friendly option for simple lighting, but the quality and durability may not meet all customers' expectations.

Simple and inexpensive
Would RecommendPlastic is better than porcelain. Simple product that works well.
Easy to Install!
Would RecommendEasy to install! Too bad, they do not have the original Porcelain.
Poor quality
Would Not RecommendYou have to pull with force on the rope/chain to turn it on and off. It's hard to tell if you're jerking it too hard so I ended up ripping the chain off of a brand new socket and had to go buy something different.
Simple and Perfect for small spaces
Great easy to use closet light that is universal..

Pull chain broke off
Would Not RecommendAfter only a few months of use, the pull chain broke off, so I need to unscrew the lightbulb in order to turn it off. Need to buy another one now, but will not be using this brand.

Faulty Teardrop Yields Tears
Would Not RecommendThis socket is designed to fit with a 3” or 4” pancake electrical box. One side of the socket is a slot for the screw and on the other side is a teardrop for the second screw. The 3” teardrop was not cut properly. After several attempts had to insert a washer to keep the screw from falling out of the hole. The faulty teardrop made a 10-minute installation into a half hour. Check the screw slot and teardrops before you buy.
