What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this pull-chain fixture for its simplicity, reliability, and quick installation, often completing setup in under ten minutes. Many highlight the intuitive mechanism and straightforward wiring, making it an effective solution for closets, garages, and basements. Reviewers frequently report it outperforms older fixtures. However, durability concerns emerge consistently—customers report porcelain bases cracking during installation, chains breaking within weeks, and mounting components failing under normal use. While most find it meets basic lighting needs effectively, some question whether the fragile construction justifies the investment.

Dangerous.
Would Not RecommendI pulled the chain, then it sprung up into the light and shorted it, flipping my breaker (luckily). Similar sockets have a cover to stop the chain from doing this. I see now that I'm not the only customer who's mentioned this in a review. Lowes shouldn't sell this, and it should be recalled.
Easy to break.
Would Not RecommendBetter in Plastic. This would be a lot easier to install if it were lighter and made from plastic material.
