What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling socket has a mixed reception. While some find it easy to install and appreciate the outlet feature, many report issues with the product's durability and quality. The plastic construction is described as flimsy and brittle, leading to cracking or breaking during installation. Problems with loose or stripped mounting screws and terminals are also common. The reviews suggest the porcelain version may be a more durable alternative, despite the higher cost.

Would Not Recommendplastic is flimsy and brittle, handle with care. wire terminals are stamped on a thin bracket that deforms as you tighten wire screws down. outlet socket receptacles are equally fragile and will deform if you plug in an extension cable with decent prong thickness. unsafe product.
Light fixture with an outlet

Great product for the price!
Would RecommendWe have two of these types of lights in closets. Both have missing strings from being pulled too hard and too often. These replacements were the perfect solution and at a great price. Wish we would have changed these sooner.

Disappointed!
Would Not RecommendEaton is normally a very good brand, but this model has screws that were too long for the box, necessitating having to cut them down, and their patented E-Z wire terminals would not accept the 14 gauge wire they said it would. Had to create pigtails to attach the wires. This model caused more work than should have been necessary for replacing a light fixture.

I was looking for the porcelain type but it wasn't available. This plastic one broke as I was installing it forcing me to make adjustments in it's use. Porcelain:1, plastic:0.
